Reduce Single Use Plastic Bags

The “Beat Plastic Cyprus” project funded by Beyond Plastic Med started in June 1,2023 and will end on November 2024 with an aim to reduce lightweight plastic carrier bags in Cyprus. The project primarily focuses on reviewing existing data and exploring opportunities to reduce the use of LPCBs (Lightweight Plastic Carrier Bags) while providing alternatives to retail suppliers and the general public. The project will also produce a specific syllabus concerning plastic pollution which will be disseminated in social media.
